This large fruit stand from Astier de Villatte is so classic it seems as if it’s been extracted from a French still life, its center awaiting a beautiful arrangement of perfectly ripe fruit. Handmade on the Rue St. HonoreŽ in Paris, these 18th-century-inspired ceramics are crafted in a traditional pottery style passed down from generation to generation. Hand-molded from black terracotta, each piece is finished in a milky-white glaze that highlights the unique character of the clay, celebrating its imperfections and ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike.
